MoveBuilder Announces the Addition of New Moving Service Locations

MoveBuilder is a full service moving company that allows consumers to customize their move based on their specific moving situation and moving budget.

Fort Smith, AR (Vocus/PRWEB) March 15, 2011

MoveBuilder, a nationwide moving service that allows customers to build a move that fits their needs and budget, today announced the addition of 12 new cities into their nationwide network of movers. The cities added to MoveBuilder’s service area include: Fort Pierce, FL; Panama City, FL; Port St. Lucie, FL; Columbus, GA; Baton Rouge, LA; Houma, LA; Portland, ME; Jackson, MS; Appleton, WI; Green Bay, WI; Neenah, WI; and Oshkosh, WI. These cities join 230 other locations already included in MoveBuilder’s nationwide network.

With the addition of these service areas, consumers moving to or from one of these locations will be able to utilize experienced packing, loading and unloading services in conjunction with their long-distance move.

“We’re constantly searching for qualified movers to become a part of the MoveBuilder network,” stated Kay Lynn Clay, marketing manager for MoveBuilder. “We take the process of selecting these movers very seriously as we understand they are the face of MoveBuilder—they’re the folks who shake our customers’ hands and handle their treasured belongings. Consumers in locations with preferred MoveBuilder movers can be confident that their moving help is pre-qualified and experienced in contrast to untrained day labor.”

In order to become a MoveBuilder approved location, at least one “preferred” mover must be located within the service area, which normally includes the city and its outlying areas. Movers attempting to become part of the MoveBuilder network of movers must have met a rigorous set of requirements that include a proven knowledge of moving best practices and a consistent record of acceptable consumer reviews.

“We entered the market with the U-Pack Moving service in 1997, and began offering consumers a way to significantly lower their cost to move by doing their own packing, loading and unloading. In the process we discovered that while some people need a lower moving price, they also like the option of adding additional moving services to make moving more convenient. MoveBuilder was created as a result,” explained Clay.

MoveBuilder, launched early 2010, was the first moving service designed to allow consumers to truly customize their own move based on their needs and moving budget. In addition to a full choice of moving options, MoveBuilder is known for integrating modern technology and logistics from the commercial shipping industry to make moving faster and more convenient. MoveBuilder is a service of Moving Solutions, Inc. Visit http://www.movebuilder.com or http://blog.movebuilder.com for more information.

New Moving Blog Offers Expert Moving Tips

Fort Smith, AR (Vocus) November 11, 2010

MoveBuilder, an innovative moving service that entered the industry in 2010, launched a new moving blog aimed at assisting people in the process of moving.

The moving blog, appropriately named The Blueprint, is designed to provide helpful moving tips, answer moving questions and provide an overall view of what to expect from the moving industry. Visitors can expect bloggers to regularly post on relevant topics that range from ‘The 50 Best Songs to Say Goodbye’ and ‘Tips for Finding the Best Neighborhoods’ to ‘How to Move Cross Country Cheap’ and ‘How to Move a TV.’ Blog comments can be made on individual blog posts or via the “Ask a MoveBuilder” tool provided on the page.

“More people than ever before are using social media to interact with the companies they’re doing business with,” said MoveBuilder Marketing Manager Kay Lynn Clay. “It’s no surprise that moving can be a stressful undertaking for families moving long distances, and we realize the importance of answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a timely manner. We’ve found that we’re able to do that well through a blog format.”

MoveBuilder’s entry into the blogosphere does seem to be in line with what consumers are demanding. According to a 2009 Nielson study, two-thirds of the world’s internet population visit social networking or blogging sites, accounting for almost 10% of all internet time.

The MoveBuilder moving blog is written and maintained by employees of MoveBuilder—many who deal directly with customers on a daily basis. “Our bloggers are moving experts with first-hand knowledge of the information customers need to know. Who better to share these moving tips and give moving advice than those who speak with thousands of other customers in the same situation,” asked Clay.

MoveBuilder is a nationwide moving company that enables customers to build a move to fit their needs and budget—choosing from a variety of packing, loading and unloading services. MoveBuilder is a service of Moving Solutions, Inc. Visit http://www.movebuilder.com or http://blog.movebuilder.com for more information.

(PRWEB) March 5, 2004

Move-Up America, LLC and Morrison Homes Houston today announced a strategic alliance through which Move-Up America will provide their Move-Up Program, a homebuyer contingency management program. The alliance is designed to aid both Morrison Homes and its contingency buyers in the sale of their existing home and the purchase of the newly constructed Morrison home.

“Working with an industry leader like Move-Up America to offer their contingency management program for our home buyers is a tremendous opportunity by filling a very specific buyer need,” said Dan Beasley, vice president of sales and marketing of Morrison Homes in Houston. “This kind of relationship opens the door to new opportunities for Morrison, and provides new ways for us to serve our customers.”
